Service Provider sont des fournisseurs de service d'application
CRM à distance. En fait, ils louent le service plutôt
que de vendre un système. C'est de l'hébergement
à valeur ajoutée. Cette industrie, émergente,
est en forte croissance. Certains pourvoyeurs sont en réalité
des fabricants qui ont opté pour ce mode de commercialisation
centralisé et payable à l'usage ou à
la durée. D'autres intervenants offrent les applications
de fabricants reconnus dont on trouve la référence
à la rubrique FABRICANTS. D'autre part, certains fournisseurs
se disent pourvoyeurs ASP dans la mesure où ils sont
à même d'offrir leur solution en hébergement
plutôt qu'à l'emplacement du client. Or, nous
n'avons retenu comme POURVOYEURS ASP que les entreprises qui
opèrent principalement en mode ASP et qui ont déjà
à cet égard un bassin appréciable de
clientèle. Dès lors, il n'est pas surprenant
qu'ils soient américains. En fait, s'il existe une
activité où la distance n'a vraiment pas d'importance,
c'est bien celle de l'ASP.
